What do you think of Reverend Wright's messages. Since Easter time is a time to pay homage and reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior do you feel this pastor did a disservice to his congregation by spewing such hatred sentiments or would you see him as a revolutionary as Christ was when he was angered by the hypocracies going on the the Temple.

Hey Miles -
I just wanted to let you know something that I just found out recently that is just so awesome! I am sure you actually already know about it, but I just had to share how awesome and coordinated God is!

I will try to do it without getting to detailed!

Did you know that during Passover, during the time of Christ, people would bring in the Lambs to sacrifice to Jerusalem with worshipers lining the streets waving palm branches singing Psalm 118 "Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord".

Jesus of course rode in on a donkey, typically meant for Kings, showing that He is both a Lamb and our King.

The High Priest would then bring the lamb into the temple courtyard for all to inspect to prove that it was without blemish.

Jesus taught and was questioned for several days while the Pharisees and Sadduccees tried to trip Him up. They could not; He was (IS) perfect and without blemish.

Passover is about redemption. As such, during the Passover Jesus broke the bread saying "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me" Mind you, the bread the Jews use for passover is bruised, striped and pierced. It is also without yeast (sin).

During Passover, a sign hung around each Lamb's neck, bearing the name of the owner of that lamb.

Likewise, when Jesus was crucified, a sign hung above his head with the name of His Father.

Studies have shown that during Bible times, phrases were typically written with the first letter of each word. An example would be NFL for National Football League.

The Hebrew initials for Jesus of Nazareth and King of the Jews was
YHWH. (Yahweh). This is one reason it is believed chief priests asked Pilate to change what he had written.

So as the lambs for the name of the owner, so Jesus bore the name of His Father, YAHWEH.

Jesus truly was and is the Lamb of God!

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed that! I know I sure did!

What a weekend we had! Through Good Fridays Concert to Sunday service! Many names were written in the Book of Life (Rev 20:15)! Awww! Glory to Jesus!

Your message was right on last Sundays service. I love the scripture where yah pointed about Thomas - John 20:24-29

24 One of the twelve disciples, Thomas (nicknamed the Twin),[c] was not with the others when Jesus came. 25 They told him, “We have seen the Lord!”

But he replied, “I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in his side.”

26 Eight days later the disciples were together again, and this time Thomas was with them. The doors were locked; but suddenly, as before, Jesus was standing among them. “Peace be with you,” he said. 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!”

28 “My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed.

29 Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”

And as we fast-forward with what John the Beloved have said in 1 John 1.1

1 We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands
[investigated]. He is the Word of life.

Thank you for "the Message" Miles!

In addition, I would like to say, thank you for the A.R.M.Y. who participated, assisted, PRAYED, stayed-late, came early, didn't complained and smiled. Glory to Jesus baby!!!

Go A.R.M.Y.

On easter my boyfriend and I brought my step-dad, my brother, and my boyfriend's 2 brothers! My boyfriend's middle brother went to the altar at the end of the service. I later found out that this was the 1st time my brother has ever been to church and the 1st time hearing the message of god (he's 13 y.o.).

Mary's Lamb

I received this email from my dad today. I thought it was cute, but important enough relevant...

Mary, had a little Lamb,
His fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went,
The Lamb was sure to go.

He followed her to school each day,
T'wasn't even in the rule.
It made the children laugh and play,
To have The Lamb at school.

And then the rules all changed one day,
Illegal it became;
To bring The Lamb of God to school,
Or even speak His Name!

Every day got worse and worse,
And days turned into years.
Instead of hearing children laugh,
We heard gun shots and tears.

What must we do to stop the crime,
That's in our schools today?
Let's let The Lamb come back to school,
And teach our kids to pray!

It is said that 86% of Canadian,

American & British people believe in God.

Why don't we just tell the other 14%

to be quiet and sit down????

God Bless you

Jesus and Satan were having an on-going argument about who was better on the computer. They had been going at it for days, and frankly God was tired of hearing all the bickering.

Finally fed up, God said, "THAT'S IT! I have had enough. I am going to set up a test that will run for two hours, and from those results, I will be the judge who does the better job."

So Satan and Jesus sat down at the keyboards and typed away.

They moused.

They faxed.

They e-mailed.

They e-mailed with attachments.

They downloaded.

They did spreadsheets!

They wrote reports.

They created labels and cards.

They created charts and graphs.

They did some genealogy reports

They did every job known to man.

Jesus worked with heavenly efficiency and Satan was faster than hell.

Then, ten minutes before their time was up, lightning suddenly flashed across the sky, thunder rolled , rain poured, and, of course, the power went off..

Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed every curse word known in the underworld.

Jesus just sighed.

Finally the electricity came back on, and each of them restarted their computers. Satan started searching frantically, screaming:

"It's gone! It's all GONE! I lost everything when the power went out!"

Meanwhile, Jesus quietly started printing out all of his files from the past two hours of work.

Satan observed this and became irate.

"Wait!" he screamed. "That's not fair! He cheated! How come he has all his work and I don't have any?"

God just shrugged and said,

"JESUS SAVES."

Pastor Miles,

You need to see this about Oprah!
You probably already know that she is going to be opening her own Church! She is not a beleiver and sending false messages to the Non Christian people. Very Sad!

We visited The Rock on Feb 24. We live in Kamloops, BC and were coming off a cruise ship, and flying home the next day. I have never heard such simple yet profound and powerful preaching. I was thoroughly entertained, yet thoroughly challenged to contend for my first love, which had definitely grown cold as I had become just another burnt out pastor. Keep preaching it, Miles. I'm listening to all your sermons on my ipod on my hour-long bus ride to and from work and am excited as all get out to get back to the basics.

this is not easter related but there's no other way to write you. i wanted to thank you for all that you do day in and day out...from you i have learned that it is okay to speak the truth and how to do it effectively! thank you for the final message at the end of the Ruth & Boaz quiz about Christians being called or known as Bigots. I come in contact with that despite the love and respect I put into my words and intentions when sharing Christ.

I engaged someone in conversation about the Expelled movie and she revealed to herself that her "feelings" or what she thinks was contradictory to God's Word.. and also justifying that a loving God would let a non-believer to heaven.

Despite showing her what the Bible says and a civil conversation, sharing what I have learned on Sundays, she was "appalled" by my views. And she insists on debating the "relevance" and accuracy of the Bible I hold dear to and I said no until she gets educated. In other words she cannot question my belief system when hers is nothing more than feelings and opinions. I told her to learn about the Bible and read it before she tells me that it is inaccurate. Is that wrong?

Lastly, what is up with this and why does it remain up? It's blasphemy! http://www.atruechurch.info/miles.html

A true church? Some big fat lie!

Something to say?

What do you think?

Should I be a part of a roster of non-believing speakers at a "non-church" event (even if given the opportunity to share my faith)?

Should a presidential candidate's private life be taken into consideration when voting?
